elf Makeup Haul

I hope everyone is having an amazing week so far! Recently, Elf cosmetics had 50% almost everything on their website so I decided to pick up some new goodies and restock on old favorites.

Hydrating Water Sheet Mask – I picked these up because I thought they would be the perfect stocking stuffers for the holidays. I love anything hydrating and moisturizing for my skin, especially with how dry my skin has been recently from the cold. It has purified water, aloe, and hyaluronic acid in it so I’m so excited to try these out during a pamper session with the girls.

Flat Eyeshadow Brush – I have several Elf brushes and really love them, so I picked this one up to apply the liquid eyeshadow I picked up from

Fan Brush – I’ve always used a dome-shaped fluffy brush to apply highlighter, but I wanted to try a fan shaped one to see which one I prefer.

Illuminating Palette – I had heard so much about this palette and was so excited when I saw it was half off. The highlighter shades are wearable unlike those crazy colored highlights I’ve been seeing lately. From swatches, I noticed it was more of a pretty subtle glow which I’ve been opting for more as the weather has been getting colder.

Makeup Mist & Set – This one was a repurchase because I had run out of it months ago. The mist isn’t as fine and widespread as other popular makeup setting sprays but for the price, it’s a great product.

Blush in ‘Mellow Mauve’ – Bright pink blushes are my absolute favorites year around, but in winter I try to use more mauve tones. I already have the same elf blush in a coral shade but opted for this mauve one this time. After swatching it, I realized this is an amazing dupe for Tarte’s blush in ‘Exposed’ which is one of my all time favorites!

Mineral Eyeliner and Satin Eyeliner Pencil – I usually have a couple of these laying around because they’re such good quality and I love using them to line my water line.

Lengthening & Volumizing Waterproof Mascara – I’ve never tried any Elf mascaras before so I picked up a few. This one looks like it has a smaller brush which would be perfect for the lower lash line.

Mineral Infused Mascara – This mascara and the next both have big brushes which I always tend to love.

Volumizing & Defining Mascara

Expert Liquid Liner – My sister loves this eyeliner so I wanted to give it a try. I loved that the brush is tiny so that you can get a super precise line and wing.

Molten Liquid Eyeshadow in ‘Liquid Gold’ – I first heard Kathleen Lights talk about this product and how much she loved it. It was the first thing I swatched when I got the package and I can’t rave enough about how pretty this color is and how perfect it is for holiday makeup looks. I can’t wait to play around with it a little more and see how it wears throughout the day.

Sculpting Silk Eyeshadow in ‘Rose All Day’ – This eyeshadow trio is to die for. I quickly added it to my cart after I saw these shades because I love warm, rosy tones and it’s the perfect one stop palette for a quick everyday makeup look, with both matte and shimmer shades.

Instant Lift Brow Pencil in ‘Deep Brown‘ – For some reason I always pick up new brow products to try even though I’m in a committed relationship with my Benefit Precisely My Brow. I wanted to try this new brow pencil and since they were having the sale, I thought it was the perfect time to experiment with new products.

Matte Lip Color in ‘Berry Sorbet’ – There’s something about a dark berry lip during the winter that I think is just SO stunning. I haven’t tried this formula before so I’m curious about how drying or lasting it will be.

Mod Glamour Luxe Lash Kit – These look so gorgeous and they’d be perfect for those holiday parties or Christmas card photos. They definitely look more dramatic in person than they do on the website.

Eyebrow Kit in ‘Medium’ – The one is also a repurchase because the gel part of this duo matches my natural brow color perfectly and the formula is perfect, not too creamy and not too stiff.

Have you guys tried out any of these products or others from Elf? I’d love to hear your thoughts on them!
