Skincare has become so important to me this past year. It’s essential that we take care of our skin before we start seeing lines, sun damage, dryness, and all those little things we wish we could change. Vitamin C gets a lot of hype for doing amazing things for your skin, and for good reason. It’s an antioxidant that helps even out skin tone and reduce inflammation, but above all it helps your body produce collagen, the magic key to preventing those wrinkles we all dread. There’s a million different products on the market that contain this super vitamin and like with everything, some are better than others. My absolute favorite serum that I’ve tried so far is the Ole Henriksen’s Truth Serum, but if you know me, you know I love trying out new things so I picked up the Measurable Difference Vitamin C Serum. It was so affordable and I figured if I didn’t love it I wouldn’t lose anything.
I love finding products with lighter formulas because they fit perfectly into my morning skincare routine without feeling heavy underneath makeup and other products. And that is my favorite thing about this product. It has a very watery, runny consistency and doesn’t feel like you have anything on. I’ve finally used up the whole bottle and my final overall thoughts on it are that I’m not a fan. I haven’t seen a dramatic difference in my skin in any way and didn’t see any benefits like I do with some of my other favorite products. It didn’t soften, moisturize, or provide any noticeable changes for me even thought I wanted to love it.
Overall, I have to say I didn’t love this product and it definitely wasn’t worth it, even for the amazing price. There are so many other great products that completely transform your skin so I would recommend trying out samples and seeing which is best for your skin type. Unfortunately, this one was a thumbs down from me.
Are there any skincare products you guys are loving right now?
